Title: The Future of Schooling: Educating International Youth in 2020
We know that the future is not predictable, but we can use data from emerging trends to help us think about future scenarios and the role we might play within those.
This workshop draws from the scenario-planning process modeled by the Global Business Network along with tools and resources from McREL and the KnowledgeWorks Foundation to help school leaders think about what the educational landscape might look like in 2020 and what changes their organizations may need to make in order to be ready for that future. Participants will first look at emerging trends that are most likely to impact their organizations, then will look at “critical uncertainties” that could dynamically impact their current way of doing business. Participants will leave with four possible scenarios and a beginning list of action items to help them prepare for those scenarios.
Join us for an exciting two days of thinking about the future!
